Part variants
Evaluate a bounded dimension change in an agreed, editable sample.
AOTEAROA LABS / SARA AI
Development preview · Pilot enquiries
A software bridge for engineer-supervised SOLIDWORKS workflows. Let’s test one repetitive task against your own baseline, with a clear scope and an engineer reviewing the result.

Proposed workflow
Illustrative workflow · No live CAD connection
A scoped evaluation, built around the way your team works.
01 — 04FOR SMALL ENGINEERING TEAMS
Design offices and manufacturers often repeat familiar steps across part variants. A pilot starts with a recent example from your team and a clear task boundary.
Evaluate a bounded dimension change in an agreed, editable sample.
Identify the model information and checks your engineer needs.
Assess the agreed save and export steps in your licensed environment.
These are candidate pilot areas. Exact operations, model types and CAD versions must be validated before they enter the agreed scope.
THE PILOT APPROACH
Agree the input, allowed changes, reviewer and acceptance criteria.
Understand the starting state and the boundaries of the task.
The engineer checks and approves the intended work. Confirm the exact controls during pilot readiness.
Compare hands-on time, corrections, review effort and support against a baseline.
CUSTOMER OWNERSHIP
You retain your rights in your designs, CAD files, project data and outputs. SARA supplies the software bridge. We do not claim ownership of your engineering work.
No SARA training, demonstrations or reuse of customer material without permission.
Use an approved AI host or your own API project. You pay the provider directly; SARA’s bridge and agreed services are separate.
Agree what may leave the workstation and which provider may process it. Provider terms and third-party rights still apply.
A SCOPED PAID PILOT
We are inviting engineering teams to discuss a proposed four-week evaluation. The live phase starts only after the workflow and licensed environment pass readiness checks.
Discuss a pilotNo automatic subscription. AI provider charges and CAD licences are separate. Deliverables, timing, support and cancellation terms are agreed before payment.
BEFORE WE TALK
No. This is a development preview. We first agree a limited task, check readiness and validate the relevant workflow in an appropriately licensed environment.
Yes. SOLIDWORKS and any required add-ins are separate customer prerequisites. SARA does not provide or replace those licences.
That is the proposed model: an approved AI host that can use the MCP bridge, or your own API project. Exact host support, model availability and plan limits need confirmation. We do not ask for your provider password or session tokens.
You retain your rights in your work. The pre-existing SARA bridge is separately licensed. Data permissions and any customer-specific deliverables are set out in the agreement; AI-provider terms and third-party rights still apply.
We can walk through the proposed workflow and a clearly labelled browser prototype using synthetic data. That prototype is not a live SOLIDWORKS or Simulation demonstration.
They are not part of the validated SARA offer presented here. A separate adapter would need its own scope, licensing review and testing.
LET’S LOOK AT ONE REAL TASK
Tell us the kind of work, your CAD environment and who reviews the result. We’ll discuss whether a focused pilot makes sense.
